First, I’d like to address the title and say that I am not biased at all……😜 That’s it, thanks.
Growing on Substack is a hard task. Really.
And the absolute best way to increase your exposure and engagement is through notes.
If you are serious about Substack, Notes are literally a must. And the sweet spot is 3 notes a day.
And yes, you can use ChatGPT for it, but keeping it up to date with everything you write and your writing style that changes is hard.
And it’s not enough that it’s difficult enough as it is, you also:
Have to post every note manually. You can’t schedule them.
Have to spend 4 clicks and 10 seconds for each note to find if it converted and what its stats are.
You need to save everything in Notion or Google Docs and then copy & paste, hoping the format sticks.

A moment before we dive into the solution, here’s what a few of the users have to say about it.
Now let’s dive into it.
The Solution
Daily Notes
As a solopreneur, it’s hard for me to see a problem and not look or build a fix immediately.
So that’s exactly what I did. I went ahead and built WriteStack.
WriteStack’s job is to do the heavy lifting for your notes. It learns your writing from your existing posts and notes, checks what’s trending in your niche and outlines best-practiced notes, in your voice.
Think about WriteStack as your inner creativity expressed.
p.s.
You can use your past articles to generate very specific notes.
Notes Organized
Instead of having your notes scattered around your personal WhatsApp group, Notion and Google docs, you can write and save them directly in WriteStack.
And the best thing? The editor is exactly what you’re used to in Substack (With extra benefits ;))
One place, all the notes.
Oh, and if you’re into Kanban, I got you covered:
Notes Scheduling
Now we’re getting to one of the most used features in WriteStack.
The scheduler.
An extremely easy to use note scheduling, with a simple and intuitive UI that will make your Substack growth SO much easier.
And with a simple queue builder, you can create a schedule that fits your audience.
One Stop Shop for Statistics
We all hate the fact that we need to invest 2 clicks and 7 seconds just to see one note statistics.
WriteStack gives you everything in one glance.
Find Your Most Valuable Notes (HOT)
With a simple page you can see and sort all your past notes to figure out what works best and what resonates with your readers.
And some nice extras, like your notes daily streak heatmap and your top fans.
It’s also impossible to find your top performing notes, unless you manually track those.
WriteStack solves it.
P.S
If you have any other stat you’d love to see, let me know and I’ll add it.
The Risk of WriteStack
Now that we’ve covered the core features of WriteStack, we need to take about the risk of using it.
Just to be “objective” ;)
The goal of the tool is not to be your ghost writer. It should be your co-writer.
If all you do is generate 10 notes a day and schedule them as is, it will quickly become boring for your readers.
Because, let’s face it, no matter how good and accurate AI is, it’s still trained on endless amount of data that you can’t overwrite.
Here’s how you can turn it into a well oiled, non-generic machine.
Generate notes
Use each one as an idea and an outline
Improve them by adding your thoughts at that moment
That way you use AI to help you express yourself, and not the other way around.
Pro tip
To improve the results even further, go to settings, scroll down and add your own prompt to the existing one.
Here’s mine:
Use profanity every now and then in my notes. Not something harsh that makes me sound bitter.
Also, don't use dash to connect sentences. Instead, use a period.
Avoid jargon
Avoid questions
Avoid buzzwords
Avoid being salesy
Avoid long sentences
Avoid high-level words
Avoid flowery language
Avoid metaphors and analogies
Avoid clichés and overused phrases
If possible, order the lines by length.
Use lists for some of the notes.
DO NOT use emojis NO MATTER WHAT.
Who Is It For?
WriteStack might not meant be a fit for everybody.
Many creators on Substack are here to express themselves through fictional writing and sharing their daily lives and they don’t care about growth or statistics.
And that’s perfectly fine!
WriteStack is a fit for:
Creators who are looking to grow on Substack
People who struggle with expressing themselves
Writers who love seeing all their statistics in one place
Organized people who want everything in one place, scheduled
Data-driven people who want to see what works, fast, and double down on it.
There are plenty of writers who will fit the criteria. And you’ll find endless value in WriteStack.
